Peaceable Kingdom in the Cypress Swamp SOLD

Not only was I amazed by the abondance of wildlife, I was impressed with how they navigated their environment, working together and yet also working against each other. Alligators provide deep holes that collect water in the dry season. The waterfowl and fish benefitted from that and lived with the alligators, but sometimes rent was due and a bird would be a meal. Yet, the birds didn’t seem to mind the lurking presence of the alligators. Fascinating.
