I entered the Plein Air competition for Ocean City and painted Assateague Island National Park, Maryland. Just as I was packing up for the day, the wild horses came galloping over the dunes and stood at the waters edge to enjoy the cool evening breeze. I ran over to where they were with 2 boards a brush and my palette. I was delighted to have captured this scene.
